Ballista Bellies: Hellcat
Hellcat has been studying bellydance diligently since 2005, anywhere from 2-5 x's a week. She was hooked from the first class she ever attended with Jillanna, and hasn't stopped yet. "Something about the movements incorporated in most forms of bellydance, taps into the inner goddess and awakens a beautiful feminine strength." Hellcat loves to perform and thrives in a spotlight. She is a very driven, motivated dancer and tries to make each performance her very best work yet. Hellcat comes from a very strong background in dancing. From the time she was old enough to walk, she was in ballet, tap, and jazz dancing. Hellcat later found an interest in swing dancing and salsa, while attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she taught east coast swing, salsa, and ballroom dancing for three years, as well as performed locally. Hellcat's Chattanooga dancing debut, was for a charity function at Coolidge Park in 2001.
Hellcat recently moved back to Chattanooga, and immersed herself in bellydance. Learning under Jillanna has been one of the most rewarding experiences to date. Now as they pair up to create and perform choreographies with swords, fire, snakes, veils, zils, or any other prop they can get their hands on, it's only going to get better.
Hellcat also performs in local and surrounding area fetish shows. She models for clothing lines, such as BitchGear (www.bitchgear.com), alternative art events such as Something Wicked this Way Comes, (www.swtwc.com) M3K Photography and many others, as well as magazines such as Lollipop Magazine (http://www.lollipop.com/cgi-bin/gallery/gallery.cgi?direct=Tee_Shirt_Gallery/Models/Hellcat) and Varla Magazine (http://www.varla.com/show_model.php?ID=82), as well as locally for Loca Luna ( www.localuna.net) Hellcat is currently pursuing her Master's Degree at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.
